We are proud to be one of four clinics state-wide awarded certification status in the pilot effort of the SC Free Clinic Association’s new Certification Program.

The SC Free Clinic Association has implemented a new Certification program, using the NC Association of Free Clinics’ standards as a basis for their program.  The goal of the new program is to demonstrate that SC free clinics operate at a high level of accountability and meet externally-evaluated standards.  The process includes two steps: a site visit and an evaluation of a notebook that documents compliance with the standards.  The new program began with seven pilot clinics and has been expanded to all 42 clinics in the state.  We are very proud to be one of the pilot clinics and excited to have been one of the first to be certified under the new program.
